SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to explain the legal requirements and practices related to the environments where food and beverages are produced, processed, stored, put up for sale and consumed, and the effects of these practices on sustainability.
Course Content: Turkish Food Codex and Product Communiqués, regulations on food establishments, regulations on restaurant and kitchen management, regulations on tools and equipment, regulations on hygiene and food safety, regulations on water, regulations on waste disposal.

Course Specific Rules

As the Course Requirements, students are expected to participate in classes, actively participate in class discussions and evaluations, complete their homework within the given time and check their e-mails daily through OIS.
