SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: In this lesson, students will learn the relationship between the rules of social order and difference of legal rules from other rules and the types of legal rules. After that, application of norms will be analysed and students will perceive the basic division of law and the areas of Public-Private Law. The distinction of legal activities and legal acts and debtor-creditor relationship will be examined.
Course Content: This course provides a general introduction to the law for students about the concept of rights and distinction between public-private law.

  4) Persons in Law: Natural Persons and Legal Persons. The main feautures of legal and natural persons will be analyzed including differences.
  5) The sections of the public law will be explained. The differences between the sections will be analyzed as well.
  6) The sections of private law will be determined and differences between the legal rules will be explained.
  7) Legal systems: Continental European Legal System, Common Law System, Islamic Law System and Features of Socialist Legal System will be examined.
  8) Concept of Right - Definition, Source and Types of Right will be analyzed.
