WORK PLACEMENT(S)

Within the scope of the 3+1 education model implemented in Beykoz University`s associate degree programs, students undertake 14 weeks of full-time workplace training during the third semester through the Workplace Vocational Training course. This practice enables students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired at the University in real working environments, gain professional experience, and adapt to professional life before graduation. In addition, students enrolled in the Logistics Associate Degree Program may benefit from optional internship opportunities throughout their studies in accordance with the applicable legislation and University regulations. These voluntary internships are designed to support students` professional development by allowing them to observe the practical application of theoretical knowledge, gain industry experience, expand their professional networks, and enhance their career planning. The Logistics Associate Degree Program places strong emphasis on collaboration with industry and maintains various partnerships and cooperation agreements with numerous national and international organizations operating in logistics, foreign trade, transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, supply chain management, and related fields. These collaborations provide students with opportunities to interact with industry professionals, explore career opportunities, and strengthen their professional competencies. Graduates of the program are qualified for employment in logistics, foreign trade, procurement, marketing, transportation (road, sea, air, and rail transport), fleet management, warehouse and distribution management, customs brokerage, supply chain management, and operations planning departments within both public institutions and private sector organizations. They may also pursue careers in research centers, professional organizations, national and international institutions, and other organizations operating in logistics-related sectors. The duration of internships and workplace training, insurance procedures, the responsibilities of students and host organizations, and all other implementation principles are governed by the Beykoz University Applied Education Directive and the relevant legislation.
