SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to introduce the concept of citizenship, its theories and the mechanisms of active citizen participation.
Course Content:	Within the scope of this course; the concept of citizenship, development of citizenship, theories of citizenship, how to gain and loose citizenship, citizenship in Turkey and the mechanisms of active citizen participation will be discused.
