SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to learn about different personality theories, historical development of the theories and applications of them, and to learn about personal development and intercultural differences of this development within the framework of different theories for healthy development.
Course Content: Psychoanalytic approach, psimilarities and differences of Freud and Jung, social cognitive approaches, individual psychology,person-centered approach, learning theories and personality in the context of personality and intercultural issues will be discussed. In addition, the effects of all of these approaches on the development of personality development processes in social and cultural context will be discussed.
