Course Objectives: |
The student who takes this course; Analyzes and designs a small-scale interior space, taking into account the user's anatomical, psychological, physical capacity and tolerances. It develops innovative ideas, creates a design problem and manages the design process. |
Course Content: |
The content of this course includes design principles, strategies and methods, space and organization relations, interior design, light, color, texture, anthropometric dimensions in human-furniture relations, furniture and fixed reinforcement dimensioning, interior features of the building, architectural form and function design, Reinforcement placement according to the degree of occupancy-space, space design with ergonomic standards, space organization, space setup, 1/50 Plan, Section, sketch models, interior perspectives, reinforcement designs, 1/10, 1/20 drawings. |
Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) are those describing the knowledge, skills and competencies that students are expected to achieve upon successful completion of the course. In this context, Course Learning Outcomes defined for this course unit are as follows:
Knowledge
(Described as Theoritical and/or Factual Knowledge.)
1) Can analytically analyze any interior space. Design the form and function of the space within the rules of interior design in the determined function content.
Skills
(Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
1) Students can prepare the sketches, interior architectural project in any scale visual presentations and models of the designed structure.
Competences
(Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
1)
2.1) Students can establish the relationship between structure and its environment.
2) Students can analyze and define the interior design codes which creates the interior design within form and function.
3) Creating the interior design by using 2 or 3 dimensional thinking processes in coordination with each other.
4) Students can transform the analyzed spatial and structural information and values into concrete architectural space.
5) Students can establish the structural system of the structure
