SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The student who takes this course knows the characteristics of plants that are compatible with indoor and outdoor spaces and their effect on design, and can make arrangements for making the right choice and finding spatial solutions for the choices made. It can design original, more livable and sustainable spaces by increasing the use of plants in architectural structures and interiors.
Course Content: The contents of this course, indoor plants, definition, importance and classification, identification of environmental factors for indoor plants, major indoor ornamental plants, explaining be tailored to the places of indoor plants, how to plant design in the interiors and to what extent structured, interpretation of examples from the world of indoor plants composition, Eco disclosure of the vertical garden of definition and usage according to Art concept, explaining the definition and usage of stabilized moss and shocked plant issues is located.

  1) Explain the usage purposes of plants in interior design.
  2) Explain the role of indoor plants in the organization of space.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) Establishes the relationship between design principles and principles with herbal design in the interior and applies it in her/his own projects.
  2) Synthesizes the methods of using plants in interior design.
  3) Creates the use and composition of plants according to spatial characteristics and applies them in design.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Manages the time within the framework of project responsibilities
  2) Implements and realizes the most suitable design for the design together with different disciplines.
