SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to give the students basic knowledge and skills about the definition of mental health, basic concepts, historical development, periods of spiritual development in children and adolescents, mental problems of children, behavior disorders and their causes.
Course Content: Mental health and the importance of Turkey and the development of the world in child psychology and mental health, theories related to mental health, characteristics of people with mental health site, harmony seen in children and behavioral problems (enuresis, encopresis, stuttering, mutism, thumb sucking, aggression, etc. .) the effects of special situations in the family on the child's psychology and mental health.

Course Specific Rules

As in other courses, 70% attendance is required.

  1) Knows the behavior disorders of children 0-18 years old and knows the reasons
