GENERAL INFORMATION

The Architecture Program is a program at undergraduate level. Students who complete the program successfully receive the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and earn the title of Architect.
Students are placed and registered in the Architecture Undergraduate Program in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Council of Higher Education. Students are placed in programs they select according to the scores they obtain in an exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). Strudents may also enroll in the program by transfer within the institution, transfer from external institutions, transfer from vocational schools and as internation student. Recognition of Prior Learning is possible nation wide according to the regulations of the Council of Higher Education and the regulations of Beykoz University.
The Architecture Program at the School of Engineering and Architecture at Beykoz University aims to educate its graduates as innovative and entrepreneurial architects who are distinguished with their knowledge in the field and with their communication skills.
The Undergraduate Program in Architecture at the School of Engineering and Architecture at Beykoz University is designed in accordance with the vision and the mission of Beykoz University, the School of Engineering and Architecture, and the Department of Architecture and the Education Model of Beykoz University to meet the requirements of the Turkish Higher Education Area Qualifications and the related national and international accreditation bodies.
The Architecture Program at the School of Engineering and Architecture at Beykoz University is composed of elective and required fundemantal and advanced courses, competency development courses and training at work place. In addition to the courses students have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of academicians and professionals of the field through conferences and seminars, and they face with the realms of the business world.
The graduates of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture work in the architecture area in the public and the private sector. The graduates are educated so as to be equipped with the fundamental and technical knowledge in the field and with skills such as communication, foreign language and team work. The graduates of the program may as well continue their studies at the gradute level.
