Course Objectives: | 1. Be able to define concepts and principles of special education (diagnosis, evaluation, placement). 2. Be able to define children with mental retardation and their qualities. 3. Be able to define children withAutism Spectrum Disorder and their qualities. 4. Be able to define children with hearing deficiency and their qualities. 5. Be able to define children with visual impairment and their qualities. 6. Be able to define children with learning disabilities and their qualities. 7. Be able to define children with emotional and behavioral disorders. 8. Knows how to individualize education. 9. Be able to list differences between inclusive teaching and integration. |
