SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to provide the students with the basic information about the diseases they may face in Emergency Assistance and to gain the confidence and the ability to overcome every problem they may encounter in their professional lives.
Course Content: Psikiyatrik Hastalıkları Değerlendirmek, Psikiyatrik Hastalıklarda Acil Bakım Uygulamak, Normal Doğum Eylemine Yardımcı Olmak, Obstetrik Acillerde Acil Bakım Uygulamak, Jinekolojik Acillerde Bakım Uygulamak, Pediyatrik Hastaları Değerlendirmek, Pediyatrik Hastalara Acil Bakım Uygulamak, Geriatrik Hastaları Değerlendirmek, Geriatrik Hastalara Acil Bakım Uygulamak, Onkolojik Hastalara Acil Bakım Uygulamak İle İlgili Yeterlikleri Kazandırmak Amaçlanmaktadır.

  1) Patient evaluation in emergencies; know the principles of primary and secondary inspection.
  2) the availability of emergency medical services in the world and in Turkey and knows first aid and emergency duties and responsibilities of this system technicians.
  3) Have basic professional knowledge.
  4) Knows patient transportation methods.
  5) Knows the basic life support applications.
  6) Knows advanced life support applications.
  7) Knows how to deal with stress in pre-hospital emergency care
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) To have the knowledge and skills to use emergency vehicles
  2) To have the ability to perform defibrillation and cardioversion
  3) To be able to analyze ECG rhythm
  4) To have the ability to use and maintain trauma equipment
