PROGRAMME PROFILE

Student admissions for Beykoz University Psychology Undergraduate Program started in the fall of 2018-2019 academic year. The program is designed to be compatible with national and international accreditation standards. The program allows students to acquire professional knowledge in subfields of psychology such as clinical, developmental and industrial psychology; to put theoretical knowledge into practice with an internship and research opportunities and to acquire competencies in different science fields by taking courses from other programs. Psychology Undergraduate Program aims to train psychologists that are socially sensitive, committed to ethical principles and considered competent with regard to both national and international standards.
The program is composed of 8 semesters including 48 courses (compulsory and elective) with a total of 158 credits (240 ECTS). The teaching language of the program is Turkish with a quota of 60 students. Minimum cumulative GPA 2.00 out of 4.00, successfully passing compulsory and elective courses and completing 158 credits (240 ECTS) are required for graduation. Also, students have to complete the internship in 7th semester and the final project.
