GENERAL INFORMATION

The prolonged life expectancy and increased vision problems related to hereditary, occupational or environmental risks increase the need for opticians. Our students graduate by gaining sufficient knowledge and skills with our expert education staff.

The Opticianry Program, which accepts students with the TYT score type, continues its education and training activities since the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The language of the program is Turkish and 120 ECTS. Curriculum in the program; competency courses are based on core courses, professional specialty courses, and on-the-job practice training.

With the legal arrangements, the employment chance of graduates has increased, provided that each entrepreneur who will open an optician firm has a responsible manager and the principal is at least an Optician Program graduate.
