SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable them to have knowledge about aviation terms and to have a good command of the maintenance principles in the aviation industry. In order to maintain the flight safety, airworthiness and reliability of aircraft used in commercial air transportation, it is aimed to teach aircraft maintenance procedures, importance of maintenance and relevant legislation in aviation.
Course Content: Concepts, definitions, classification of aircraft maintenance activities, activities that make up aircraft maintenance, basic maintenance methods, maintenance regulations, importance of maintenance in aircraft, history of maintenance, maintenance procedures are included. In addition to providing the basic information of the course, it aims to improve the research and presentation skills of the students.
