Course Objectives: |
The aim of this lecture is to teach the students; the aviaton history in the world and in Turkey, the structure of the atmosphere, human body and the aviation phisyology, hypoksia, G-Forces, clouds,meteorological reports, Civil Aviation Authorities and the aviation alphabet. |
Course Content: |
In this course students will learn world and Turkish aviation history briefly. What are the main parts of a plane, Air physiology, human performance and air physiology, accidents and incidents, human factors in an accident, Atmosphere and the layers, atmosphere and meteorology, the type of clouds, meteorological reports (Metar, speci,Taf), aviation alphabet, International and Turkish civil aviation associations (ICAO; IATA, SHGM, DHMI), and air terminology will be explained.
