SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to develop students' visual perception skill, and with the help of exercises about basic composition, drawing, perspective and measurements, to give students a deeper understanding of their personal processes while drawing.
Course Content: Structural properties and drawings of objects progressively in various sizes. Different object studies. Strengthening eye, brain and hand related. Work on the development of academic design knowledge and the ability to create in different areas.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) are those describing the knowledge, skills and competencies that students are expected to achieve upon successful completion of the course. In this context, Course Learning Outcomes defined for this course unit are as follows:
Knowledge (Described as Theoritical and/or Factual Knowledge.)
  1) The connections between art concepts and the values in the art language of achievements to be made by the interaction of these concepts are targeted.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) It is aimed to work with concepts that correspond to the concepts and meanings in the casting process. In the process of personal creativity, each student will show different development. A wide spectrum of cognitive learning is created and directed towards the student's choices.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) As a result of analysis and analysis, problem-oriented solution management studies are supported.
  2) It is aimed to learn at the level of being able to explain the techniques and methods of applications depending on the concepts.
  3) For field-specific competencies, the condition of the transfer of the election franchise must be fulfilled. The development of the planning required for this competency is followed in the following process.
  4) Design intellectuality is aimed at the development of narrative transfer with design and artistic language.

6) Still life composition from drawing pattern. Practical training.
7) Midterm Drawing and evaluation of patterns through composition.
8) Drawing the pattern from inanimate model (tors, etc.). Anatomical ratio ratio application. Practical training.
9) Pattern drawing from a live model. Anatomical ratio ratio application. Practical training.
10) Pattern drawing from multiple pattern composition. Practical training.
11) Drawing composition with the technique of kuruboya. Practical training.
12) Drawing composition with charcoal technique. Practical training.
13) Pattern applications with Lavi technique. Practical training.
14) Final exam Pattern work on the model within the scope of different techniques.
