SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The main objective of this course is to help the students to be able to produce technical drawings representing their design ideas + ideas, in their studies throughout their education and their professional life.
Course Content: Forming the geometrical shapes with digital drawing softwares. Learning the drawing and editing commands. Learning the tools and information regarding the drawing of a simple plan and section with the sw. Presentation techniques.

Course Specific Rules

1. Regular attendance is required.
2. The students are responsible for gathering the information that has been covered during their unattended classes.
3. All the project studies, assignments and homeworks should be prepared by the students themselves.
3. All the project studies, assignments and homeworks should be submitted within the specified time frame.

  1) The student can represent his/her design ideas as per international drawing codes
  2) The student can use the computer aided design software AutoCad efficiently.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) The student who successfully passes the class would have the knowledge and skills to produce a simple drawing set of a structure or an interior room
  2) Uses the computer softwares which are related to the field of architecture and restoration at least in European Computer Use Licence General Level.
