SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: This course aims for students to develop a short film project from script to screen,to participate as one of the above the line crew, to get the experience of working on set, to be affiliated with pre-production and post-production processand to understand the form and aesthetic of short film.
Course Content: This is a one-semester course in which students will develop their own short film projects (including non-fiction and experimental works) from concept to completion. They will present these projects at various stages in class. Concept development, research, script preparation, location scouting, organizing a crew, script breakdown, art direction, working with the director of photography will be covered.

  2) According to their story-line, to develop and understand what kind of visual language they will be able to create.
