SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: Planning, design and production of print-based, digital-based or three-dimensional information systems in open and closed areas. To design informative systems such as user manuals, statistical data, traffic signs, systems that provide guidance in roads and public spaces, airports, hospitals, warning signs, maps, city plans adhering to graphic design principles.
Course Content: Examination of information systems. Planning, designing, placing and displaying graphic design elements such as text, line, painting, color, flash, motion, space, sound, interactivity in the built or natural environment, in print, base or digital environment.
