PROGRAMME PROFILE

The Foreign Trade Distance Education Associate Degree Program is a professionally oriented associate degree program within the field of Business and Administration, structured in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The program level and field classifications are defined in the institutional information systems and the ECTS Information Package of Beykoz University in line with national and international qualifications frameworks.

The program adopts an educational approach that integrates the theoretical foundations of foreign trade with professional knowledge and practical skills. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and competencies required in key areas such as foreign trade, customs procedures, international trade, logistics, and international trade finance.

Program-Specific Criteria – Foreign Trade Distance Education Associate Degree Program

PSC-1: A comprehensive approach to foreign trade processes within the framework of foreign trade legislation, customs practices, and international trade operations is provided through courses such as Foreign Trade Operations, Customs Legislation, Foreign Trade Legislation, and other related field courses.

PSC-2: Fundamental knowledge and practical competencies related to the financial, accounting, and operational aspects of international trade are developed through courses such as International Trade Finance, Foreign Trade Accounting, International Payment Methods, and other practice-oriented courses.

PSC-3: The teaching approach, which reinforces theoretical knowledge through practical applications, case analyses, and professional studies, is implemented through Foreign Trade Operations, Electronic Commerce, Logistics Management, and other applied professional courses.

PSC-4: An interdisciplinary approach that integrates foreign trade processes with logistics, international marketing, and supply chain management is fostered through courses such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Marketing, and other related courses.

PSC-5: Professional ethics, effective communication, the use of digital technologies, and foreign language proficiency required in the international trade environment are promoted through Professional English, Information Technologies, Electronic Commerce, and other related professional courses.
