Logistics Management Bachelor`s Program is a bachelor`s program positioned in the field of logistics, structured in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The program`s level and field classifications are defined in Beykoz University`s institutional information systems and ECTS Information Package, in line with national and international qualifications frameworks.
The program has an academically oriented structure based on the theoretical foundations of the logistics discipline. This structure is based on an academic orientation that addresses the basic functional areas of logistics, such as logistics management, supply chain management, transportation management, inventory management, and warehouse management, from a holistic perspective.
The target student profile of the program consists of individuals interested in the field of logistics and supply chain management, aiming to develop analytical and critical thinking skills, and willing to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. The program is designed taking into account the changing structure of global supply chains, global competition conditions, and current logistics operations. In this context, academic knowledge in the field of logistics and supply chain management is linked to sectoral dynamics.
The education and training process; The program is conducted through theoretical courses, applied studies, case studies, and project-based learning activities, and is structured to support students in developing analytical thinking, holistic evaluation, and an interdisciplinary perspective.
Program-Specific Criteria
Students acquire the competencies required by the program-specific criteria by taking courses specific to the field of logistics, such as warehouse management, transportation management, inventory management, purchasing, and contract management, which occur throughout supply chain management.
Students acquire the competencies required by the program-specific criteria by taking the information systems course in logistics management and applying relevant software in the field of logistics.
The criteria listed below are defined to highlight the academic orientation and distinctive features of the program and are not a repetition of program learning outcomes or program educational objectives.
PSC1: Equips students with theoretical knowledge in the fundamental functions of the logistics field, such as warehouse management, transportation management, inventory management, purchasing, and contract management, and provides them with practical skills in the sector.
PSC 2: Equips students with theoretical knowledge in the field of information systems in logistics management and provides them with practical skills in the sector.
