PROGRAMME PROFILE

The International Trade and Finance Undergraduate Program is a bachelor’s degree program positioned within the fields of business and economics and structured in accordance with the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The program’s level and field classifications are defined in alignment with national and international qualification frameworks and are presented in the institutional information systems and the ECTS Information Package.

The program has an academically oriented structure based on the theoretical foundations of international trade and finance. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach covering international economics, foreign trade operations, international finance, logistics and supply chain management, international marketing, and trade law.

The target student profile consists of individuals interested in global trade and financial systems, aiming to develop analytical and critical thinking skills, interpret economic and financial data, and relate theoretical knowledge to practical applications. The program is designed with consideration of globalization, digitalization, international trade policies, financial market transformation, and sustainability approaches.

The teaching and learning process is carried out through theoretical courses, applied studies, case analyses, simulations, and project-based learning activities. The program supports students in developing analytical thinking, decision-making, comprehensive evaluation, and an interdisciplinary perspective.

Program-Specific Criteria

The following criteria present the academic orientation and distinctive characteristics of the program and do not repeat program learning outcomes or educational objectives.

PSC-1:
The core functions of international trade and finance are addressed through courses such as International Economics, International Finance, Import-Export Management, Foreign Trade Legislation, and International Trade Law.

PSC-2:
Quantitative and qualitative methods for analyzing global trade and financial processes are integrated through Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, and Financial Analysis.

PSC-3:
Theoretical knowledge is linked with case analyses, simulations, and practice-based learning through International Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, and Entrepreneurship.

PSC-4:
An interdisciplinary global management perspective is reflected through International Marketing, International Finance, Trade Law, and Management Information Systems.

PSC-5:
Ethical principles, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and the regulatory framework of international trade are addressed through Foreign Trade Legislation, International Trade Law, International Finance, and Strategic Management.
