GENERAL INFORMATION

In today's societies, as a result of globalization, rapid social changes, increasing inequalities, and accelerating urban population density, the number of people who cannot make sufficient use of social resources has increased. The understanding of the social state had to develop social policies to support these disadvantaged groups and to reconsider the structuring of social services. Social service; It is a dynamic profession based on struggle that aims to prevent and solve the problems that arise out of their control, to meet their material and non-material needs, to improve social welfare and quality of life under the environmental conditions of individuals, families and societies.

Social Services Program which accepts students with TYT score type has been continuing its education and training activities since the 2017-2018 academic year. The language of the program is Turkish and 120 ECTS. The curriculum in the program; competency courses, core courses, professional area specialty courses and practical training in the workplace.
