The political, social, economic and technological structure of the 21st century has created new business environments that require different disciplines to come together and work together. Within the dynamic and competitive nature of these business environments, individuals, communities, institutions and brands have to design and manage the communication process to maintain their assets and communicate effectively with their environment. In addition, the ability of businesses operating in competitive economies to sustain and grow their assets is directly related to the extent to which they have successfully carried out the branding process. The branding process is an important process that requires significant investment, a differentiation strategy. The existence of many institutions and organizations knowing the importance of branding and therefore differentiation today and working with these field-based specialists ensures that the investments made in the communication sector also increase every year. For example, it is estimated that today the investment in communication studies with agencies providing professional communication consulting in the area of corporate communications is close to $ 110 million; The world's leading international strategic communications company WPP group of their income in Turkey is known to approximate $ 150 million. The budgets allocated to the promotion budgets of the countries are also an important indicator of the size of the communication sector. For example, the budget allocated for the promotion of our country abroad for one year in 2014 is $ 50 million; Within the scope of the Brand City Project, planned by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to be phased in by 2023, the total of investments to be made in 15 cities has been announced as TL 750 million. As can be seen, the annual increase in investments leads to the growth of the communication sector and the need for more well-trained human resources. In an environment where the design and management of the communication process is so important, the communication sector also needs communication specialists who have received interdisciplinary training, advanced synthesis skills, are well equipped, innovative and able to evaluate and manage events from different perspectives.
