SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The main purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the basic concepts, major theories and schools of thought about the relationship between literature and politics.
Course Content: Students who successfully complete this course,
Will have information about the emergence and development process of the relationship between literature and politics.
He will gain a first knowledge of the development process of literary theories.
He will learn the theoretical approaches in the field of literary sociology and the effect of political thought on literature, which is at the beginning of the human creation processes.
The importance of philosophy in terms of psychology discipline and what kind of ground it creates will be discussed.

Course Specific Rules

It is essential that the lecturer presents the topics defined below every week in the course. The midterm will have a 30 percent effect and the final will have a 50 percent effect, and 20 points will be calculated with 3 quizzes and homework.
