SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
Course Objectives: | Students taking this course; It is aimed to be able to interpret radio broadcasting at a basic level, to discuss and question the contents of the radio program, to prepare the program to be presented, to develop himself in the field of using technical equipment in the studio. In addition to defining the theoretical, historical and legal information about radio broadcasting, it aims to improve the competence of managing, designing and making decisions at every stage of radio programming processes. |
Course Content: | In this course; world history in Turkey and radio, with radio program producer and presenter studied with reference to the debate in the journalism field. Audience trends research is evaluated, technical competence is developed, the RTÜK law is discussed, preparations are made for digital radio broadcasting, and the relationship between promotion, advertising and sponsorship is analyzed. |

1) Learning outcomes of the radio program production course; Defining the concepts of communication, content and presentation, the competence to make radio programs, and the competence to use mixers, and planning all stages of radio program production are related to program outputs. |

2) It is aimed that students taking this course will be able to analyze automation, production and technical issues, combine this information to create a live radio program, question and discuss radio broadcasts from a critical point of view. |
||
3) It is aimed to be able to interpret the relationship between advertising and finance, to recognize and compare every section available on the radio. The content to be prepared by the student; determines and corrects compliance with laws, RTÜK law and copyright. |
