SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce the concepts and fundamentals of logistics , to emphasis the scope & objectives of logistics operations and management, and to help students in using all these concepts in their business life.
Course Content: This course covers the definition & history of logistics and supply chain management, and logistics activities, such as; warehousing, handling, packaging, labelling, inventory management, transportation management, customer relationship management, logistics information systems.
