SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
Course Objectives: | A student who successfully completes this course will be able to define theoretically and practically the basic concepts related to the system and use of image and image generating devices. |
Course Content: | History of moving image, pellicle image formats, frame rates, video camera types and tape formats, history of video, high-definition images and cameras, image restoration, camera support tools, shot scales, angles and composition, image and sound, compression in social media tools , bit depth and resolutions form the content of the course. |
Knowledge (Described as Theoritical and/or Factual Knowledge.) | ||
1) Defines the pellicule image formats. |

2) Explain the difference between aspect ratios. |
||
3) Defines video cameras and tape formats. |
||
4) Explain the differences between standard and high definition images. |
||
5) Compares the technical limitations in the production of image and audio content for social media tools. |

1) Sets up and uses camera support tools. |

2) Applies shooting scales in the camera. |
||
3) It controls basic sound recording equipment and creates the link with the camera. |
