SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to give knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Course Content: Common clinical signs and symptoms in hemodialysis patients, acute complications of hemodialysis, concept of hypertension and dry weight in hemodialysis, cardiovascular problems in hemodialysis patients, infections in hemodialysis patients, hepatitis infections in hemodialysis patients, CRF and Anemia I CRF and Anemia II, hemodialysis in diabetic patients problems and hemodialysis in hemorrhagic patients, endocrine problems in hemodialysis patients, neurological problems in hemodialysis patients; topics.
