Course Objectives: |
Upon successful completion of this course, students will know the basic components and operating principles of the basic devices that should be present in the operating room. Have information about the malfunctions that may be caused by the devices and will be equipped to prevent these malfunctions. Knows the maintenance and cleaning of the devices. |
Course Content: |
Basic operating room devices and equipment, types of operating rooms, devices and equipment that differ according to the types of operating rooms and surgical procedures and interventions, life and support devices, recognition of devices found in operating theaters, routine maintenance, sterilization and disinfection procedures.
