SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The objective of this lesson is to create in students an understanding of the working mechanisms, institutions and contradictions of the current international economic system and world trade. In this context, the questions "through which processes the inequal system called 'global economy' came to be?"; "how it still carries the mark of these processes?" and "what are the current important issues defining and shaping it?" will be investigated.

  1) Dünya ticaretinin serbestleşmesiyle küreselleşen ekonominin yanı sıra ülkelerin ekonomik kümelenmelerinin ülke dış ticaretine etkilerini değerlendirebilme ve dış ticarette makro ekonomik politikaların mikro ekonomileri/şirketleri nasıl etkilediği, riskler ve fırsatlar bağlamında ilişkilendirme ve yorumlama yetisi kazanmak,
  2) 1) Uluslar ticaret ortamını doğru kavrayarak, şirket politikalarını ve pazar stratejilerini doğru belirleme, riskleri ve fırsatları görme yetkinliği, 2) Dış ticareti düzenleyen kurumları ve mevzuatı doğru kavrayarak, uygulamalarda zaman kaybını engellemek amacıyla süreçlerde uzmanlaşma 3) Denenmiş ve sonuç alınmış dış ticaret uygulamalarını etkin olarak faaliyetlerinde kullanabilme, 4) bütünsel bakış açısı ile operasyonlarını yönetebilme, güncel uygulamalara kolay uyum sağlamak.
