SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
| Course Objectives: | This course aims to define the general concepts and important milestones of T.C history and to provide a framework for this historical development and to introduce different perspectives. |
| Course Content: | This course includes political history of Turkey. These history comes from Comitee of Union and Developent, First and Second Constitutions, the establisment periods of Turkey. Then the course continues to find deeply explanation the periods starting from 1940s to 2000. |

1) This course divides the history of the Republic into periods in the light of the political, economic, social and cultural developments. |

2) This course deals with the nationalization policies and the formation of different political ideologies in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. |

3) This course explains the philosophy of the Turkish republic founding era and the fundamental dynamics of this period. It also deals with the new interpretations brought to politics along with multi-party life. İT mainly describes the emergence of a new cultural, social, political life. |

4) This course analyzes the main transformations of the social, political and economic dynamics of the Tukish society. |
||
|
5) This course analyzes the role of modernization and globalization in the development of the country, in the second half of the twentieth century. |
