SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives:

PURPOSE: As a result of this course; detailed information will be given on insurance and risk management, which includes logistics, international trade, business and even all financial and fiscal issues will be delivered to students. After graduation, students will have a comprehensive understanding of insurance and risk management. They will acquire skills in the management of all risks arising from Insurance and Credit.

Course Content:

Within the framework of this course, it will continue with the teacher's lecture at the beginning. During the course, students will be asked to read various articles. According to the course flow, professional managers and instructors from outside the university will be invited. What is the difference between Insurance and Guarantee The principal types of guarantees in international trade Property and Liability Insurance Reinsurance Risk and Its Treatment Chance of Loss Peril and Hazard Insurance Company Operations Investments Insurance Homeowners Insurance, Commercial Property Insurance, Commercial Liability Insurance, Crime Insurance and Surety Bonds

During the term, articles will be read and a presentation will be prepared by students. Attendance to the courses will play an active role in the evaluations.

1)	Learns and uses the basic information, concepts and theories required in the field of international trade.
	1.1 Apart from subjects such as finance, business, economics, management-organization, marketing, sales management, human resources management, which constitute the main subjects of business management, it is also necessary for foreign trade, logistics, supply chain management, customs, insurance and risk management. have the necessary basic information.
	1.2 Except the core subjects of the business, students have knowledge about leadership, behavioral sciences, communication and entrepreneurship; in the field of service, mathematics, statistics, law, operations research, information processing and management information systems.
2)	Use information and communication technologies and business applications and international trade in information systems effectively.
	2.1 Students will be able to benefit from contemporary information technologies and tools in business life, are willing to learn continuously, are open to innovations and can easily adapt to changes.
