SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The main aim of the course is to reveal the basic concepts of social psychology, major social psychological discussions, and to grasp the forms, conditions and advantages of examining socialities with a social psychological perspective.
Course Content: It is aimed to enable students to know, learn and take care of the basic approaches, historical development, basic theories and methodology of social psychology. Within the framework of social impact and compliance, social cognition (social perception), attitudes, theoretical approaches to attitude change, the effects of communication and propaganda on attitudes, the topics will be discussed and examined within the required scope.
