Course Objectives: |
Gaining the ability to choose the appropriate material by learning the basic properties of traditional and contemporary building materials used in the building, their usage areas, production methods and application methods. |
Course Content: |
Material definition and building physics problems; mechanical effects, thermal effects, water-moisture effects, sound effects, fire effects, walls, floors, types of building materials; natural stone building materials, aggregates, binding building materials, terracotta building materials, glass, metal, wood, bitumen based building materials, plastic building materials, paint and plaster coating building materials. |
