| Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to introduce students to who an entrepreneur is and what entrepreneurship is, starting from its historical foundations, and to teach them the essential steps for establishing and operating a successful and innovative enterprise (business) within the context of technology and innovation. Furthermore, by discussing the types of entrepreneurship, the course will cover not only the establishment and management of a business but also how individuals can demonstrate their entrepreneurial and innovative qualities based on different types of entrepreneurship. |
| Course Content: |
The course generally covers the concepts of enterprise, entrepreneur, and entrepreneurship, the historical development of entrepreneurship, the development and current status of SMEs in Turkey and globally, considerations for establishing a business, types of enterprises (businesses), environmental analysis and SWOT analysis in entrepreneurship, innovation in entrepreneurship and its types and applications in the context of innovation, and topics such as marketing plans, production plans, management plans, and financial plans within the context of entrepreneurial business plans. |
