SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to create understanding on the concepts of basic foreign trade operations and to earn the ability to put in practice the foreign trade operations. |
| Course Content: | In the scope of this course; all the documents and certificates used in a foreign trade operation, such as the commercial documents, transportation documents, movement and insurance certificates, are instructed with their samples. The INCOTERMS, which are one of the main subject in international trade and the payment terms are also explained. In the end of the semester, the practical examples are given in order to make students understand the import and export operation process. |
