SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enhance students' communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills in the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program. Through real-life scenarios and aviation terminology, students will learn to communicate effectively with passengers, prepare professional written documents, express themselves in interviews and presentations, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and teamwork.
Course Content: This course covers professional English for cabin crew within a 16-week program. The content includes aviation and cabin terminology, polite requests, giving instructions, and emergency-related communication. Students practice problem-solving, conflict resolution, and cultural awareness through real-life scenarios, role-plays, and group work. Writing practice includes incident reports, complaint letters, emails, and announcements. Additional content features interview preparation, teamwork, debates, and self-reflection activities.

Course Specific Rules

Class Participation
Active participation in discussions, role-plays, and group tasks is required. Students should come prepared for each lesson.

Assignments & Deadlines
All assignments must be submitted on time. Late submissions will not be accepted unless a valid excuse is provided.

Exams & Presentations
Cheating, plagiarism, or inappropriate behavior during exams and presentations will result in disciplinary action.
